This news article is really nothing new. Unfortunitly, feeling sorry for all the sad situtations we Americans find ourselves in, is not going to solve the problem, as it never has and never will.
If you don't choose to pay extra to sign up for "concierge" or "boutique" medical care, should you still get the same access to your doctor's time and attention?

Wow! The Hocus Pokus of some of these posted comments only solidifies the pathetic ignorance of the majority both pro and con of this Obama care debate. There is no such a thing of a "Free Lunch" to put it mildly.

The prudent thing that most of us Americans can do is spend as less as we can, and zero in on necessities as much as possible. Wants are not necessities.

Its easy to understand. Starting with the corrupt educational standards that was jammed down Americas throat during the 1960's era. Lowering the standards for the defined injustices of the previous years, then in lieu of raising the intellectual level of all, degraded it.

Just think, should Maryland and Virginia place "Speed cameras" on the interstate highways, their fiscal concerns would be solved praticaly overnight! Indeed, this is a tragic example of Social Degeneration that has griped our nation, not just in isolated so defined low income locations nationwide.

Only a quick comment about fear. As FDR once said, the only thing we have to FEAR is FEAR itself. Like religion, most beliefs without physical substance is driven on fear, and fear is the root cause of hatred, and hatred is the major cause of wars.

All the griping in the world is not going to solve the problem. Compensation should only be connected to performance and results. When the results mastersize into losses, the compensation should automatically be reduced by the percentage of the losses of those responsible, regardless of who they are.

Good point. The real cause is the unballance in trade, wherby it has become convoluted from years back after WWII.
